There’s something about a Capybara. Their rotund rodent form and cozy, thick fur make them marvelous creatures. What if you could run a spa rampant of them?
That’s what developer Cozy Bee Games decided needed to be made. Capybara Spa is a new indie game available on Steam that allows the player to run a relaxing business meant to pamper Capybaras.
From growing fruit to crafting soaps, there’s plenty to do in this point-and-click game. There is no time pressure, so players can relax and play freely. Achievement hunters especially will appreciate it as the casual game’s achievements can be unlocked in just a few hours.
The graphics will appeal to cottage-core game lovers. Widely cute and colorful, the art style is well-polished and whimsical. While there is a focus on adorably round Capybaras, a few other cute animals make their debuts, like chubby otters and a content frog.
Sandbox gamers will adore the restore and furnishing aspects of the game. As the player progresses, they unlock new furniture to decorate the mountain-side spa. This customization feature allows for more creativity than most standard point-and-click games.
Capybara Spa is available on Steam as of today. As a special promotion for the release, it is currently 15% off at the time of writing.
