Detroit: Becomes Human has surpassed 2.5 million units sold on PC, accumulating over 8 million copies sold worldwide across all platforms. The adventure video game developed by Quantic Dream was released in May 2018.
Co-CEO of Quantic Dream, the studio behind the game, Guillaume de Fondaumière expressed pride in the accomplishment.
“We are delighted to introduce our works to an ever wider and younger audience, and on all continents,” Fondaumière said. “At the end of 2022, we also saw a record level of ’wishlisting’ on these three titles, which gives us hope for an equally exceptional 2023.”
Detroit: Become Human has been received with generally favorable reviews that praise the settings, visuals, storyline, interesting characters, and the impact choices had on the narrative. In its first week, the game topped both overall sales and console sales.
