Fall Guys to Introduce Pusheen Collaboration

Fall Guys is known to bring familiar IPs from all sorts of different nostalgic avenues into their game as cosmetics. From Nightmare Before Christmas, Cuphead and Sonic the Hedgehog, the game doesn’t shy away from introducing big names into the multiplayer platformer.

Lovers of the cartoon cat, Pusheen, can rejoice with the news of the latest announced collaboration. Coming into the future, Fall Guys is introducing two Pusheen collaboration skins.

Originally created as a wholesome comic character, Pusheen has found love and commercial success in recent years. It represents the internet’s love of cats. An exhibition at the New York City Museum of the Moving Image explored the phenomenon, spotlighting Pusheen alongside other celebrity cats such as Grumpy Cat.

Fans of both Pusheen and Fall Guys shared their excitement on social media.

Speaking on the game’s collaborations, the Fall Guys developers shared their love of introducing new IPs into the game.

“These are characters that we’ve grown up with,” developers said. “It’s really satisfying getting them into the game, and giving that twist in terms of the art.”

The developers also teased these collaborations turning into fresh gameplay. The collaborations will turn into new levels that fans can take part in.

“We can’t say too much, but you’ll find out soon,” developers said.
