On June 21, Fall Guys will be free to play on all platforms, including PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and the Epic Games store starting June 21.
Players who already own the game prior to the free-to-play launch in June will be awarded a legacy pack. The pack comes with a nickname, a nameplate, a regal costume, a veggie dog costume, a feisty dwarf costume and a season pass. To be eligible for the pack, players must launch the game prior to June 21.
Along with the free-to-play status, Fall Guys is introducing cross-play and cross-progression. Gamers will be able to play with friends no matter what system they use and transfer data from one system to another. More information will be released about this at a later date.
Pre-registering for the launch will unlock rewards for the players. The number of rewards unlocked depends on the number of players who sign up.
The game will be leaving the Steam store with the launch, so new PC players will have to download the game on the Epic Games store instead. However, current Steam users can still continue to use the Steam launcher after the update.
Fall Guys is a massive 60-player multiplayer battle royale obstacle course game released in August 2020.
