Overwatch 2 developers tweeted today that the newest push map will be set in Portugal. The new map, named “Esperança”, will arrive along with the game’s official release on October 4.
The new map features scenic oceanic mountain views, cultural casas and futuristic tech sprinkled throughout.
“I think it captures a ton of the culture pretty accurately,” art director Dion Rogers said.
Esperança‘s design includes plenty of spots to snipe and flank. Widowmaker and Tracer mains will love it.
This map joins a selection of other push objective maps where players work together to push or defend a payload. Other maps in the category include Colosseo and New Queen Street.
