Pokemon Squishmallows Make Their Debut and We’re Obsessed

Pokemon Squishmallows make their debut and we’re obsessed Squishmallows has released a sneak peek of their newest collaboration — delightfully chunky versions of their famous electric-type Pikachu and poison-type Gengar.

The Pokemon Squishmallows will be released at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con this fall. They’ll also be up for purchase on the Pokemon Center website.

“This collaboration with Jazwares to introduce Pokémon in the immensely popular Squishmallows expression is a perfect fit for fans of both brands,” Gerhard Runken, Senior Vice President of Brand & Marketing of Jazwares said.

There is also a rumor that Snorlax and Togepi will arrive as Target exclusive, but that has yet to be officially confirmed.

This collaboration opens a wide door for other Pokemon possibilities. Fans of both Squishmallows and Pokemon are beginning to ask when other fan favorites might be released, such as Eevee.

Thanks to social platforms like TikTok and Instagram, Squishmallows became a huge hit in 2020 during the pandemic after an otherwise slow rise to fame. The company sells plushies, stickers, pet beds, slippers among many other collectible products.
